There has never been a clearer choice between candidates than in this District 6 election. On one hand we have an entrenched District Councilperson who has been at constant odds with the rest of the council on just about every issue that comes before the Council. It would be reasonable to disagree occasionally, but to consistently disagree leads one to wonder if it is the people in District 6 or the Councilperson that is out of step. As a resident of District 6, I can say unreservedly, it is the councilperson. I strongly encourage your vote for Lawrence Romero, a man who will listen, represent, and respond to ALL of District 6.

It’s time for a change in District 6. What people want in a council member is consideration and response. Unfortunately, it seems when some people are elected, they forget who really holds the power. Lawrence Romero will not forget that. He will make good decisions that will lead our city forward. Vote Romero for District 6.

I recommend Lawrence Romero for District 6. He will bring a refreshing common sense viewpoint to our District 6 seat, and will help to lead this incredible city on into the future; helping us maintain our status as one of the premier cities in America.

Lawrence Romero is the right choice in this election for City Council. That seat is currently held by a councilperson out of step with all that is good in the city of Georgetown. Our city already enjoys one of the lowest tax rates in central Texas, and we are the second safest city in Georgetown. In order to keep things moving in a positive direction, let’s all get behind Lawrence Romero for City Council.

People think District 6 “can’t change.” But it can, and this year we have the candidate to do it, Lawrence Romero. It’s time to vote for a candidate that will represent “all of District 6” Vote Romero for City Council, District 6.

We need to make our council more cohesive. It seems that we have one out of seven who always has an issue with what’s happening in one of the greatest cities in the United States. These contrarian ideas do nothing but slow down the process, and in some cases embarrass what is otherwise a very measured, thoughtful, and intelligent council. I strongly recommend that it is time for a change. Vote Romero for District 6.
