A group of Georgetown women are incensed with Hillary Clinton’s comment that “Half of Trump supporters could be put into a basket of deplorables.” They decided to demonstrate their objections to her irresponsible and vile comments. Most of the “deplorables” to whom Mrs. Clinton referred, are hard-working folks, tax paying citizens, property owners, former veterans and contributing members of our community. “They are PROUD Americans,” said Marcia Warren. “To lump so many Americans together in such a disrespectful way is not only irresponsible, but reflects a hateful and unrealistic view of the majority of Trump supporters. Today we are peacefully demonstrating our objection and disdain for her comments.”
