Bobby Seiferman is one of four Republican candidates for the open Precinct 4 seat on Williamson County Commissioners Court. He is a resident of Round Rock and believes his background and small-town values are what Precinct 4 residents are looking for in their next county commissioner.
With experience and credentials from the Farm Bureau to Road Bonds and Chamber of Commerce and much more, this former RRISD board trustee is a strong advocate for youth empowerment and has helped manage over a billion tax dollars in one of the state’s largest school districts. His priorities for office include creating a youth leadership academy for high school students interested in county government and public administration.
Seiferman has been active on the east side for more than ten years “I want the residents of Precinct 4 to know that I will institute regular office hours in Granger and Taylor. I believe in rolling up my sleeves and getting involved in every part of the community to get to know and respect the people who live here. As well, with a history of diverse community service I have seen and understand the need for improved mobility and infrastructure. I will manage and partner regionally to facilitate strategic growth for Pct 4 and the County.”
Seiferman also believes he has the precise experience that prepares him for the demands of public service. His background in public sector management; budgeting, personnel, policy and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration have provided a well-rounded perspective and ability to collaborate on the differing priorities among all of Williamson County’s precincts.
“A great elected official has to enjoy being around people and I think I am a great listener,” Seiferman says. “Voters want to be heard and politicians should do less talking and more listening. I have been around public servants my whole life and I respected their God-given passion to serve. My father and uncle were in law enforcement and they were and are my life-long role models.”
On one hot topic in this election season, Seiferman says, “I give my word to the voters that I will be a full-time commissioner with no side jobs. I urge people to study the candidates as if they were hiring a CEO for their own business and the decision will affect their wallet—because it will.”
